PC / Desktop Technician
Full-time - Myrtle Beach, SC

We are seeking a full time PC / Desktop Technician in Myrtle Beach, SC to install, configure and repair PC and Laptop hardware and software.

MUST be well versed in:

• Microsoft Windows versions 98 through Vista.
• New hardware and software installations
• Troubleshooting and replacement or repair existing hardware
• Data migration
• Microsoft Office Applications
• Virus and Spyware removal
• Local and network printer installation from the PC standpoint

Must be able to connect a PC / laptop to Ethernet and wireless, and be able to properly troubleshoot connectivity issues to the network and network resources.

Must be able to properly assist users over the phone, via remote access, and in person. This is NOT a bench-tech position. Effective communication and customer relations skills are required.

Must have dependable transportation and possess or be able to quickly obtain a valid South Carolina driver's license. No travel required.

At least 5 years of verifiable experience in the above-mentioned technologies is required. A history of punctuality, dependability and technical ability is necessary for this position. A successful candidate must have worked in this capacity in the past: Work for friends and family does not count.

Due to the nature of our work, a drug test and background check is required. Skills testing will also be performed.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
